My spleen is killing me!

running

This morning when I went for my run, my eldest son asked: 'Can I go with you?'

I was pleasantly surprised this fourteen year old boy volunteered to spend time with me, so I agreed: 'Yes, but I hope your ankles won't bother you!'

Because last time I went for a run with my eldest son, we had to make many, many stops, because of his hurting ankles.

'They won't!' my son declared confidently, and indeed they didn't.

Because before we'd hit the corner of our street he said: 'I'm going back. My spleen is killing me!'

Thanks for stopping by "the Hut". I'm a new follower too.

My son once told me that he didn't want to mow the grass because he would mess up his hair. Just be happy that your son even knows he HAS a spleen. Have a great Sunday.

I think my spleen hurts with the very idea of running:-) Visiting from Tiki Hut, thanks for sharing.

Well, kids will be kids. The idea of running makes them go "Uhh, maybe not". Trust me- I used to be the same way. But that was funny.

New follower- feel free to come on by.
