Do what comes naturally. Run.

After two weeks with all my kids at home for Christmas Vacation, ánd my husband fulltime around too, I was feeling decidedly frazzled. Especially since two kids puked their guts out during the night. I felt the adrenaline coursing through my veins, my body was on full alert.

While I lay in my bed.

Having a body that's all revved up, and raring to go, is not a good feeling when you're trying to catch up on a good night's sleep. So when I woke up around 6 in the morning, still feeling stressed out, I decided to do what came naturally: I went for a run.

And as soon as I started to run, I swear, it was almost as if I could hear my body sigh with relief. Finally all that adrenaline was being put to good use. With every step I felt my stress evaporate.

Running never felt so natural, then it did on this stressfull morning.
