Dilemma: to run or not to run

I find myself on the horns of a dilemma!

I always do the school run running. But tomorrow I have an appointment at school at 8.30. This means that if I want to take the kids to school running, I'll have to be at the appointment in my running clothes, redfaced and sweaty.

And I réálly do nót want to skip my morning run. I really don't. And I also réálly don't want to postpone my morning run til later that day. It's not a morning run for nothing! Besides, I've got a bit of chip on my shoulder caused by being a mom. 'Why do I always have to be the one who adjusts her schedule?!'

So what do I do?

What would you do?

And why do I keep hearing Phoebe's song 'Smelly Cat'in my head?

  1. I would say adjust and just learn to be happy with doing that lol. I'm sorry I have no other great advice. I've been only married for 3 years and a mom for 2. As far as I know, that's been what I've had to do and embracing it has made me a much happier person. :)

  3. I decided to run first. I made sure I put some distance between me and the other moms, so they wouldn't catch a whiff of me.
