What kind of bra do you wear during your runs?

When I'm out there running, I've got my girls tucked up nice and safe, in my regular cotton, underwired bra that cost $5.

Unfortunately when breasts were doled out, I was at the end of the line, and there wasn't much left when it was my turn. So I feel it's alright to run in my everyday bra. After all, there's not all that much there to support.

However, I have tried 'real' sports bras. Once I forked out $25 for a Fila sports bra. Unfortunately it rubbed me the wrong way, and I got an angry looking bruise, right between the girls. And that was it for me. From then on, I stayed with my 'normal' bra.

Thanks for posting this! It's so important to wear the right sports bra especially when you are near the front of the breast line! It's hard to find a sports bra with the right support that doesn't allow too much bouncing and doesn't put too much pressure on your shoulders and back (a sight I don't appreciate and pain I hate getting). I have been wearing the Champion Powerback Underwire Sports Bra for about 3 years now and I don't think there is a better bra out there for large breasted runners. I have actually been asked by other runners what I wear because I don't bounce! Under Armour has a new maximum support bra (I have yet to check out) that is also moisture wicking which the Champion is not. In my opinion it's a small price to pay for great support and with a performance shirt it really doesn't matter.

I like to have the girls firmly dealt with on runs. I just wear a Target sports bra but it does the trick very nicely.

Moisture wicking is indeed very important! It's one of the drawback sof my regular bras.

I was right behind you in line, I have nothing to support really. A little more then usual right now since I just had my second child and still have a little weight to lose. Once it's gone, bye bye boobies. That's the first place I lose weight and last place to gain. But... I digress. I wear sports bras I get from Marshalls or TJs, they sell all kinds of brands for like $10 and they're great. Very comfortable.
