Running safely: can you be identified?

Whenever I went out for a run I've alway felt a bit uneasy.  Because what if something were to happen to me. Or what if I would suddenly faint or something.

Would people be able to identify me?

Other than by saying: 'She's a very slow runner!'

Sticker with phone number on iPod

To make it easier I had written my phone number on a sticker en put it on the back of my iPod. So at least they would be able to find my phone number. But I still felt uncomfortable about it.

SOScoin

So I was very happy when I heard about this thing called an SOScoin. It's a coin you can attach to your shoe. You can put your name, address and phone number on it.

So should something bad happen during a run, you can be identified with this SOScoin.

I feel a whole lot better and safer now that I've finally taken measures to make sure I can be identified.

I especially like this SOScoin because it only takes a minute to attach it to your shoe, and then you can forget all about it.

Can you be easily identified during a run?

It's a really valid point about being identified - sounds like a great solution, but it's something everyone should consider really isn't it? Thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo
